Doukas School hosted the International University Fair at the DAIS Grand Hall. The event brought together a carefully selected group of universities and international education organisations and established a clear framework for academic choices that extend beyond national borders.
Organised in collaboration with SRT Fairs, the fair introduced students and parents to a broad spectrum of higher education systems across Europe, North America and Asia.
Students from Years 10 and 11, along with the IB Diploma Programme, met directly with admissions representatives. They examined undergraduate programmes, compared entry requirements and clarified application procedures across different academic environments.

The presence of institutions from countries including Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Japan, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the United States offered a multi-layered perspective on higher education. Each system presented a distinct academic structure, allowing students to assess not only where they can apply, but how and why each pathway differs.
Participating institutions included: Webster Vienna Private University (Austria), Saint Mary’s University (Canada), University of Nicosia (Cyprus), Masaryk University (Czechia), Campus France| IFH Paris – Institut Français de l’Hôtellerie| Vatel Bordeaux (France), Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (Germany),, Metropolitan College (Greece), Hosei University (Japan), Sommet Education (Les Roches, Glion, École Ducasse (Multicampus Institutions), Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (UFV) (Spain), SHL Switzerland| Swiss Education Group (Switzerland), Tio Business School (The Netherlands), Green River College| Fulton-Montgomery Community College| State University of New York (SUNY) (United States).

The structure of the fair encouraged focused, one-to-one dialogue. Each conversation added clarity. Each exchange helped students move from general interest to considered evaluation.
The University Placement Center of Doukas School extends this process beyond the event. It supports each student with structured guidance, individual planning and a clear application strategy.
The International University Fair 2026 reflects a distinct educational philosophy: informed decisions, international perspective and academic direction defined with intent.
