The TEASPILS project focuses on creating environmental awareness towards plants and greenery, educating young people and their teachers towards ecological learning spaces. Actions will promote and foster awareness of environmental issues in an educational context. Our approach aims to stimulate knowledge and appreciation of plants close to the people concerned, i.e. in urban indoor and outdoor environments.
The five Intellectual Outputs of the project are:
- SPOC and open online course to foster environmental awareness
- Smart IoT planters to collect data in learning spaces
- Visualisation Dashboard to show sensor data-mobile and web-based app
- Pilot studies with smart IoT planters in learning spaces
- Gamification framework to utilize digital sensor evidence for pedagogic environmental awareness
On the 12th of April2021, the project partners organized and held the first part of the project’s partner meeting, digitally, due to COVID-19 travelling restrictions.
