STEAME goes HYBRID event was organised by Doukas School in Athens, Greece on the 3rd of November 2022. The event took place at “Aithousa Pollaplon Hriseon 2” of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. Dr. Gregory Makrides, president of the Cyprus Mathematical Society and coordinator of the project participated in the event. “The STEAME School of the Future: Innovations from European Projects” was presented by Gregory Makrides and the STEAME goes HYBRID project’s outputs were presented by Thomas Oikonomou.
The STEAME school of the future aims at the transformation of knowledge into abilities and skills through new structures, infrastructures and activities that meet the modern demands of education and the labour market. The presentation includes a model design of a STEAME school structure with proposed dynamic programs of actions and activities, learning and creativity plans, an educational program for teacher training, as well as new innovations that come from European funded programs with the main goal of learning/education.
The Intellectual Outputs of the STEAME goes HYBRID that were presented are the following:
- Blueprint Guidelines for Hybrid STEAME activities (online and distance blended project-based learning)
- Training Programme for facilitating the implementation of STEAME L&C Plans by SE teachers and Piloting the Blueprint Guidelines. STEAME-Hybrid Learning and Creativity Plans (6 samples)
