This event marked a significant step toward promoting inclusive Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education across Europe.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15539\" src=\"https:\/\/www.doukas.edu.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/148\/2024\/09\/\u0395\u03b9\u03ba\u03bf\u0301\u03bd\u03b11-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1269\" height=\"787\"><\/p>\n<p>Participants learned about the project&#8217;s aims, key objectives, expected results, and its anticipated impact on education. The day also featured teachers&#8217; experiences from previous projects focusing on inclusion, providing valuable insights and lessons learned.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Eugenia Koleza, from the University of Patras, delivered a <a href=\"https:\/\/edudoukas.sharepoint.com\/:p:\/s\/TEK.ext\/EXLTOnZgfghCvoLddok65GgBhMj-7liTVGNNR8TBKMspbA?e=NS40fA\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">keynote speech<\/a>, setting the <a href=\"https:\/\/elearning.steam4all-project.eu\/pluginfile.php\/92\/mod_folder\/content\/0\/STEAM4ALL-Theoretical-Framework_Final.pdf?forcedownload=1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">theoretical framework<\/a> for the STEAM4ALL initiative. Participants engaged in discussions about designing and implementing STEAM projects, delving into the state of the art, design activities, approaches, integration strategies, and real-world examples.<\/p>\n<p>One of the highlights of the training was the introduction to <a href=\"https:\/\/elearning.steam4all-project.eu\/login\/index.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">STEAM4ALL&#8217;s toolkit<\/a> for students. Educators explored learning plans, workshops, thematic days, and practical inclusive activities. These hands-on experiences empowered educators with the tools needed to create engaging, inclusive STEAM lessons.<\/p>\n<p>With focus on STEAM4ALL&#8217;s Guide for Educators, participants investigated into resources, reports, practices, activities, methodologies, and pedagogies aimed at promoting inclusivity in STEAM education.<\/p>\n<p>A group workshop followed, where participants collaboratively designed STEAM inclusive activities, drawing inspiration from the wealth of resources provided by STEAM4ALL. Each group presented their projects, fostering a spirit of collaboration and knowledge sharing among participants.<\/p>\n<p>As the training course concluded, attendees discussed plans for disseminating the knowledge gained during the event and shared their feedback.
