From the first Microcomputer Spectrum (with 16 KBs RAM memory) and the first IBM-PCs with floppy disks to today&#8217;s tablets, laptops and any kind of modern individual or central device (with Tera Bytes), from the first pilot attempts to integrate information technology into education to interactive surfaces, broadband networks, and today&#8217;s panorama of methodologies of personalized, learning and group projects for and in our real world&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>In parallel with the above, since<strong><em> 1994<\/em><\/strong>, when the <strong><em> Research and Innovation Department<\/em><\/strong> was founded, until today, we have designed, submitted, implemented, evaluated and distributed the results of dozens of<strong><em> educational, research and development projects, national and European,<\/em><\/strong> along with the accompanying training actions that require their integration into the educational process. We have supported all kinds of activities that require technological infrastructure, from classes of all levels to our sports and cultural activities, along with the creation and utilization of all forms of digital material.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13619\" src=\"https:\/\/www.doukas.edu.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/148\/2024\/09\/\u0395\u03b9\u03ba\u03bf\u0301\u03bd\u03b11-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1269\" height=\"714\"><\/p>\n<p>The<strong> list of the 61 Projects of Doukas Schools<\/strong> is (from the newest to the first):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/siemdig.uken.krakow.pl\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">SIEMdig<\/a> <\/strong>&#8211; The main priority is the development of an educational platform, which will be easy to use and accessible for everyone. Besides being a digital tool for the teachers, its content will encourage the young children to embrace the differences, and it will teach them about the difficulties that some of their peers face. (Erasmus+, Uniwersytet Komisji Edukacji Narodowej w Krakowie, Dec\/23 to Nov\/25)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/sutee.eu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>SUTEE<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Aims at educating teachers and young people in the importance of environmental protection in dense metropolitan areas, both for human well-being and when addressing climate change. (Erasmus+, Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid, Sept\/23 to Aug 26)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/steame-academy.eu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>STEAME &#8211; ACADEMY<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; A model through a STEAME Teacher Facilitators Academies networked through a European Federation of such Academies at the local level, which will support the change to the future schools with main actors the teacher facilitators as the future professionals and experts of learning change and facilitators of competence and skills development in youth. (Erasmus+, University of the National Education Commission, Krakow, June\/23 to May\/26)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/thalescyprus.com\/?page_id=3386\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>STEAME STUDENTS<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Promotes the development of a Network of communication using licensed communication platforms for supporting its aims and objectives in facilitating the exchange of ideas and creative thinking between school students interested in STEAME subjects, including high-ability students. (Erasmus+, Thales Foundation, May\/22 to June\/23)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/robosteamkids.eu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>roboSTEAMkids<\/strong><\/a>\u2013 To advance the methods in pedagogies used in early childhood education, eliminate disparities in digital education and teacher skills among member states. (Erasmus+, University of Croningen, May\/22 to Apr\/24)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/facilitate-ai.eu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>FacilitateA\u0399<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 Guidelines for facilitating the learning of Artificial Intelligence (AI) by School Students of Grades 7-12 (Erasmus+, Kypriaki Mathimatiki Etaireia, Feb\/22 to Jan\/24)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/propel-europe.com\/europe-diverse-and-united\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>EDU<\/strong><\/a>\u2013 Europe Diverse &amp; United (Erasmus+, PROPEL EUROPE, Jan\/22 to Dec\/23)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/byod-learning.eu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>BYOD<\/strong><\/a>\u2013 Learning at Any Time, at Any Place via any Device aims: didactic concepts, teaching and learning material as well as corresponding assessment methods for mathematics education will be developed, tested, evaluated and disseminated on the European level.
