Preparation for Admission to Universities Abroad

At Doukas Schools, our IAL Curriculum is the same Secondary Curriculum followed by most of the Senior High Schools in England and Wales. It is a 2-year program, formed according to the desired field of study and students obtain the equivalent of the British Baccalaureate. The program has the same standards, is tested in the same way and is internationally recognized, as is the case with all GCEs acquired in the UK or elsewhere.

The courses of GCE/IAL A-Level correspond with the courses of the Greek National Diploma, but do not provide equivalence, necessary for anyone interested in sitting for the National exams. In case a student wants to have the option to study either in Greece or abroad, then the GCE program is attended in parallel with the Senior High School courses.

In our School we offer 4 targeted directions, which we call Streams:

  • Engineering Stream (Pure Mathematics, Physics, English Language & Literature)
  • Economics Stream (Economics, Applied Mathematics, English Language & Literature)
  • Psychology Stream (Psychology, Applied Mathematics, English Language & Literature)
  • Art Stream (Art, Applied Mathematics or Psychology, English Language & Literature)

COMBO: Senior High School & IAL. An ideal combination

At Doukas School we created COMBO, a specially designed program of integrated and effective attendance. With this program, we give the opportunity to students who attend Senior-High in the morning at our School and at the same time, attend the IAL in the afternoon, to save valuable time, as all courses are offered in our facilities.

Registration for the June 2025 exams will run from March 7th to March 20th, 2025 with Normal Fees. After that, registration can be done with Late Fees.
